Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information to operate the Employee Portal and support field operations:

• Account credentials. Email address and password used to authenticate through Supabase Auth.
• Location data. GPS coordinates collected when you clock in or out for time tracking and job-site verification.
• Photos and media. Images you capture or upload for job progress documentation, inventory records, tool tracking, receipts, and parts identification.
• Device biometrics. Face ID or Touch ID may be used on your device for local app unlock only. Biometric data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Usage and device information. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app activity logs needed to maintain and improve the Employee Portal.

We use collected information solely for legitimate business purposes related to employment and field operations, including:

• Authenticating your identity and managing your account
• Recording time punches and verifying job-site attendance
• Documenting job progress, inventory, tools, receipts, and parts
• Enabling supervisors and project managers to coordinate field work
• Maintaining, securing, and improving the Employee Portal
• Complying with legal and contractual obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Employee Portal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Employee Portal data is stored using Supabase, which provides PostgreSQL database services and secure cloud storage for photos and files. Data is hosted in encrypted form and protected by industry-standard access controls.

Access to Employee Portal data is restricted to authorized Tri-Area employees and designated administrators who require it to perform their job duties. We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We retain Employee Portal data for as long as necessary to support active employment, fulfill business and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Time records, job documentation, and associated media may be retained in accordance with company record- keeping policies and applicable law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized in a reasonable timeframe.

The Employee Portal is an internal workforce tool. Accounts are provisioned by Tri-Area administrators and are not available to the general public. If you are not an authorized employee or contractor, you should not attempt to access or use the Employee Portal.

Location and camera permissions are requested by the mobile app when needed for time punches and photo capture. You can manage these permissions in your device settings, though disabling them may limit your ability to use certain Employee Portal features required for your role.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Employee Portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
